People Are Really Mad At Who Ends Up On The Iron Throne In The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Finale

*Warning: this post contains spoilers but since it’s the series finale, the spoilers shouldn’t even matter to you anymore*

Well, if you are an avid Game of Thrones fan and have spent the last eight seasons loyally watching—I’m sure you’re not 100% happy with how things turned out in Westeros. As it turns out, the majority of people online are pretty damn pissed off at the writers and who they chose to end up on the Iron Throne.

The series finale gave us some expected and unexpected twists. We knew someone was going to kill off Daenerys after she burned millions of innocent women and children to a crisp in King’s Landing—and, it turned out to be Jon Snow. What we didn’t see coming is Grey Worm and the Unsullied trying to take power and control what is done to both Jon Snow and Tyrion—who committed treason against Dany.

All of the main characters left (basically the Starks + a few others) met at King’s Landing to decide what to do with Tyrion and Jon. It was a meeting of the ages—with our favorites and some randoms there (like who invited the Stark’s Uncle?)

Even though Sam tried to push Westeros into entering a Democracy (with tons of laughter), instead the remaining leaders decided to someone instead and they chose Bran Stark—aka BRAN THE BROKEN.

And, because Bran cannot father children, moving forward every King/Queen will be chosen by this “counsel” instead of being birthed onto the now-melted Iron Throne. That’s right—after eight seasons, Drogon melted the Iron Throne that everyone has been fighting over.

After eight long seasons of battles, death, and tons of drama, fans were not happy to see Bran—stoic, weird, creepy Bran—taking the throne.
