Ann Coulter Whines That She’s Got No Friends After Attacking ‘Con Man’ Trump

At a recent Palm Beach luncheon, far-right commentator and former Trump disciple Ann Coulter ripped the President for failing to secure border wall funding. Coulter ranted about Trump’s inability to enforce immigration policy calling him a “shallow, narcissistic con man”.

According to the Palm Beam Beach Post, Coulter says since she’s been vocal about her frustrations with the president, she finds that other conservative party members are now unwilling to engage with her.

“It’s frustrating,” Coulter told the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon crowd. “I can’t talk to Trump detractors because, as the subtitle to my last book indicated, they’re insane. I can’t talk to the Trump flatterers because they think as soon as it comes out of his mouth, it has happened. No, he’s an excellent talker. It’s just when it comes to doing anything that he falls down on the job.”

Coulter also railed against the media in her speech, saying just because she condemns Trump’s lack of action doesn’t mean she supports ‘lying media’.

“That doesn’t mean the media are not the enemy of the people. Both things can be true,” she added that she hoped Trump’s presidency would lead to the “total destruction of the lying media.”

After the luncheon, Coulter was asked about her response to Trump tweeting about her, calling her names like “nut job”.

To which Coulter responded, “I don’t know why he doesn’t just ignore me. He doesn’t mind ignoring the rest of his base.”

The former Trump cheerleader added that if the wall-supporting Trump base doesn’t come to fruition by 2020, it’s likely Democrats will “elect someone completely crazy, just wild left-wing. That’s the debate right now, are they going to go with someone half normal or are they going to go with an AOC type?”
